VERSTAPPEN WINS IN SUZUKA FOR FIRST WIN OF THE YEAR

Formula One was in Japan for Round Three, the scene of many a title win and title battle. But in 2025 and like many years before in recent memory - it was Max Verstappen who dominated to take his first win of the year. It was the two McLaren's who were pushing Max for the full fifty three laps around this historic track.

It was a race that wasn't full of drama as Red Bull's Max Verstappen takes his first victory of the year becoming the third different winner in three races.

The McLaren's of Norris and Piastri didn't have an answer to the pace of the Red Bull, with Norris finishing ahead of Piastri to keep the lead of the Championship by one point to Verstappen.

The only real moment of note was the close fight between Norris and Verstappen at the pit exit on lap twenty two as the two title challengers are neck and neck leaving the pit lane and in a bid to get in front coming out of the pits Norris goes wide onto the grass of course losing him time.

The next race is the Bahrain Grand Prix.
